Soilvitae focuses on development of the best biotech solutions based on plant-microbe-soil assemblies to improve agricultural productivity, and to guarantee food security and sustainable use of natural resources.

We believe that the secret to improving agriculture is to bring together natural microbes in innovative ways.

Soilvitae was founded in 2014 by a group of researchers with more than 20 years of experience in applied plant science.

Our team specializes in plant nutrition, plant-soil-microbe interactions, soil microbial ecology, lab and field trial studies. All our work is done in collaboration with farmers.

Soilvitae is currently incubated at the University of Lisbon (Portugal) as part of its innovation centre Tec Labs (http://www.teclabs.pt/).
